Creative Flow

I am not a morning person. I peer out of my bedroom window as the sun rises. I soak into stillness. Not moving much. Unless, I wake up with a creative idea.
Then I am distracted from reality and time. Almost in a frenzy to write it down or get to a canvas to paint. The urge can be intense.
Trying to capture my thoughts before the traffic of the day interrupts my creative flow.
Even at work I have to finish creating activities when the idea hits. Slowing down my ability to sort ideas, edit text - watching the clock before my next session or meeting full of anxiety.

When does creativity "strike" for you?
